Angelina Paris Cafe is located in the heart of Paris, France. It was first established in 1903 when Austrian confectioner Anton Rumpelmayer and his son opened Angelina at 226 rue de Rivoli after his daughter in law.

After 120 years, Angelina is still a popular and beloved cafe that has expanded throughout the world! One of the locations being Sixth Ave in New York City.

The location in New York City is fairly easy to get to and just across the street from Bryant Park. I arrived on a Saturday and Angelina’s famous hot chocolate sounded like a good idea.

Hot Chocolate at Angelina Paris Cafe

Hot Chocolate

Cost: $12

Decadent and the most ordered item from Angelina’s menu. It’s rich, thick and warm. They give you a small pot of just hot chocolate and a side of cream if you want to lighten the thick flavor.

Mont-Blanc in Angelina Paris Cafe

Angelina’s Signature

Cost: $24 (updated: $25 for 2025)

The Signature is a combination of Angelina’s hot chocolate with their famous Mont-Blanc. Mont-Blanc is: Meringue, light whipped cream, chestnut cream vermicelli.

Almond Croissant in Angelina Paris Cafe

Almond Croissant

Cost: $5.50

Typical Almond Croissant. It was filled with crunchy almond that I enjoyed with a sweet filling.

When it comes to busy days, I would avoid this location only because the servers aren’t able to be as attentive (understandably so!). Please try to arrive a little earlier for some breathing space and time to enjoy the beautiful decor.

I will definitely revisit this closer location rather than traveling all the way to Paris. So if you’re in NYC, stop on by!

Other food locations to try out is located here.
