Arte Museum Las Vegas Review – A Quiet Sanctuary from the Crowd
Address | 63 CITYCENTER 2F, Las Vegas, NV |
Type | Immersive Art |
Parking | Valet Parking, Garage |
Highlight | Star Raindrops Exhibit |
ARTE Museum Las Vegas is a unique art museum for young and old, for those who are into art and even those who aren’t. It immerses you into the experience completely fully. I thoroughly enjoyed the art installations the whole time I was there and wish I brought one of those small foldable stadium chairs you can carry around, or a padded jacket so I can sit on the floor to enjoy some of them.
This location is close to the Cosmopolitan and the Aria in terms of hotels. It’s in the “City Center” and unfortunately will require going out in the heat to get inside the building. Once inside, the installations are all indoors and well ventilated with AC! No running is allowed, so walk at a sedate place and avoid from touching the screens and mirrored walls.
The ticket itself varies in price but most days will be around $65, but may be more if you combine it with the cafe which I highly recommend.
There are a lot of art exhibits, so I’ll just highlight my top favorites.
The Star Raindrops art installation mimics falling rain. The room is admittedly a bit chaotic as you try to step through the paper art of falling “raindrops” and try not to run into a room full of mirrors. But it’s definitely majestic once the scenery changes with the music and lights.
WAVE, as the name suggests, shows constant crashing waves as it slams onto the “glass” wall. The large waves gives the feeling of how powerful mother nature can really be. For myself it feels soothing as the waves ebbs and flows; others may feel differently.
AURORA is a mesmerizing sight of light, colors, and crashing waves against the beach all at the comfort of being inside a building and no sand getting stuck inside our shoes. I spent awhile just staring at this installation because I’ve never seen the Aurora Borealis so it’s almost the next best thing.
Closing Remarks for ARTE Museum Las Vegas
There are a lot of other immersive installations found inside ARTE Museum Las Vegas. Some honorable mentions is the Live Sketchbook that is great for children and adults. Colorful animals you create will come to life and run around the screens. At some point, a “safari” shows up where all the animals come together. Another is the FOREST; mystical spirits stroll through the forest to restore it back to life in different times of the year. For example, you can witness a snowy tiger during the winter and a whirl storm of the phoenix in the fall.
While the timeframe estimates 90 minutes, you can easily spend hours walking through each exhibit.

The exhibits end with a nice treat to the cafe. I encourage everyone to get the ticket with the cafe included. It’s a surreal experience where you can enjoy a sweet beverage, with a twist. The lightning is a bit dark, but that’s because the provided beverage against the table will show its own media art. I had a bit of fun playing with my milk tea, a moon displayed on the surface, and will follow your cup around as you move it bit by bit.
ARTE Museum Las Vegas is definitely an experience this place alone or with friends and family.
